HomeAid Joins NAHB Leading Suppliers Council, attends Spring Meeting

HomeAid is thrilled to announce our recent membership of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Leading Suppliers Council! This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone for HomeAid, opening new opportunities for collaboration and innovation within the construction industry.

Our Chief Development Officer, Marisol Parand, recently attended NAHB's Spring meeting in Washington, DC. This event provided an invaluable platform for networking, strategic meetings, and exchanging ideas with many esteemed members of the Leading Suppliers Council.

One of the highlights of Marisol’s trip was a tour of the prestigious Home Innovation Research Labs. Located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, the labs feature a 25-acre research campus equipped with a state-of-the-art product testing laboratory, a market research facility, and several outdoor evaluation areas. Over the past 50 years, Home Innovation Research Labs have played a crucial role in solving some of the home building industry’s most challenging product and technology issues. Their groundbreaking work has led to the introduction of many beneficial innovations that have shaped the industry.

The clients of Home Innovation Research Labs span all aspects of the home building industry, including builders and remodelers, product manufacturers, trade associations, and government agencies. This broad reach ensures that the labs’ research and innovations are comprehensive and impactful, addressing the needs of diverse stakeholders.

Joining the Leading Suppliers Council provides HomeAid with access to cutting-edge industry insights, best practices, and a network of industry leaders who are committed to driving progress in home building. We are excited about the possibilities this membership brings and look forward to leveraging these resources to further our mission of addressing homelessness through housing and community outreach programs.

Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this exciting journey with the Leading Suppliers Council. Together, we can make a significant difference in the home building industry and, most importantly, in the lives of those in need.

Thank you for your continued support!
