Celebrating 34 Years of HomeAid!

In 1989, a small (but passionate) grassroots group of individuals in the building industry in Orange County, CA began on a journey to tackle one of our nation’s biggest problems: homelessness.

At the heart of HomeAid is the ability to forge, develop and foster relationships and partnerships to find collaborative solutions.  Since HomeAid Orange County's incorporation 34 years ago on June 12, HomeAid has used the power of these
partnerships to create housing solutions for people experiencing and at risk of homelessness by leveraging the resources and expertise of the building industry with the programmatic experience of high-achieving nonprofits.

HomeAid has now expanded nationwide with 19 affiliates and has a proven track record of transforming lives through local and national builders, trades, suppliers, financial institutions, and community partners. HomeAid has transformed over 1,150 properties across the entire Continuum of Care into safe and stable housing for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness, effectively ending homelessness for nearly 650,000 people.

Join us in commemorating 34 years as we start HomeAid’s 35th year of making a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. We're proud to have reached this milestone, and we couldn't have done it without your support!

Our community is an integral part of our story and ongoing efforts to build a future without homelessness. By supporting HomeAid through construction, community engagement, and education, you can become a vital participant in the ongoing
journey towards a future without homelessness.
